owl about

Gotta love Mae getting in on the photo action once again! This isn't really a recent outfit, gone are the days where I post what I wear on the day I wear it! This navy owl print dress by Influence at New Look was worn for Sunday's family pub lunch (which was delicious by the way) along with black tights from Tesco and my favourite/most hated boots from Sarenza.
I do love a good family gathering, but now they bring a sense of sadness too. My Nan loved a get together and she would have been in her element on Sunday. I don't think I was alone in secretly raising my glass to her.

This dress is probably one of my favourite buys this year, again with a link to my Nan who was besotted with owls; when we were searching for gifts for her we couldn't find anything with an owl on, now you can't look anywhere without seeing one. It's not a bad thing, sometimes it catches you unaware but mostly it's like a little reminder that she is always there, and always watching.

Well,
here we are on Friday again (Crunchie craving and all!)
What are your weekend plans?

Totally agree on the owl front, I used to have to scour charity shops for owl related things now they're in all shops. That dress is cute, reminds me of your New Look top actually :)

There is not one shop without an owl jumper this season!

I love all of the owl prints that are around at the moment. Your dress is so pretty. I am planning on spending the whole weekend inside the house,I don't want to go anywhere in the cold and wind.
