Daisy Chain Dreaming: Dream Duvets from Palmers

A couple of weeks ago I was very kindly gifted my dream Cath Kidston Duvet from Palmers, I've seriously lusted after one of these for so.long. and I was far too excited to go to bed last night and snuggle up under it (heat be damned).

I confess, before they got in touch, I hadn't actually heard of Palmers before; turns out it's a pretty damn awesome department store that stocks all manner of fabulous things for the home- pretty china, amazing coffee machines...as well as a stunning range of bedding from designers such as Kirstie Allsopp, Kylie Minogue at home and V&A

(this is how I can tell I'm growing up, getting excited about duvets and homeware)

The second I am in a position to move out on my own, you can bet I'll be ordering this little lot for my bed...

Those of you that have moved in to your own place, did you go home decor mad?
What's your favourite ever duvet? I have fond memories of some of my childhood ones such as care bears and my little pony!

Had you heard of Palmers before today?

How pretty! I wonder if Mr. A would let me buy something this girly for our bedroom.

That duvet cover is so pretty and I love the polka dot one too! My favourite duvet I remember is when I was little I used to have on that had fairies on it and their wings would glow in the dark, I loved it! :) xx

Is that your bed? It's so teeny! I was so happy when I got a double bed a couple of years ago. I'm about to move into a flat with my boyfriend and it's tempting to buy loads of flower print but I think I will have to compromise somewhere!

When I moved out to go to college I didn't think much of decor, but when I bought my first home at 21 I went crazy decorating. Over a decade later I am still excited about that stuff. I love those bed sheets and the comforter/blanket sets...such lovely prints.

I LOVE homeware too, moving in with the boyfriend soon and I'm SO excited for getting all the little things haha!
My favourite ever duvet cover was one I had when I was tiny, it had a Teddy Bears' Picnic on. I was gutted when my mum decided I was too grown up for it and cut it up for rags! Haha.

I love that bedding set! My other half is quite strict on us having nothing too flowery in the bedroom, but now we have a second bedroom I can unleash my girliness in there : )
