cat lady

When I saw this Cat Print Top* on a visit to Asda last Saturday, I couldn't leave without it. Getting Mae restarted the crazy cat lady side of me, and suddenly I had to own all things kitty. Yesterday I wore it with my ever faithful Zara denim midi skirt and a pair of Georgia Rose boots c/o Sarenza (and finished it off with a cat necklace from Sarah at Benita Blue)

This weekend is turning out to be quite the reprive from the chaos of last week (I have never known a week like it) and touch wood, next week should be a little calmer! I'll leave you with more photos of our little madame, she's turning in to quite the Diva, and despite our best efforts in getting her ready to go outside, she just will not wear her collar no matter how many pretty varities with varying degrees of volume bell we buy her!

Any tips for getting her to keep her collar on?
How is your weekend turning out? Are there any animals that if you see on clothes or accessories, you just HAVE to buy?

aww bless, what a naughty girl! I have bought our dog s few jumpers/coats. He has a thin coat and feels the cold easily so loves to be wrapped up. Plus i love how cute he looks in them.

aah, perfect top! I don't think I've said it before but Mae (cute name btw!) is absolutely adorable :) Our cat didn't like us putting on her collar either, but after a while she just got used to it and it didn't bother her anymore... Just keep putting it on and eventually she'll just give up :)Good luck!

I always used go for animal print like leopard and zebra rather than actual animals but I think bloggers are infiltrating my thought processes as I did pick up a dress with cats on the other day. It looked awful on me but I did at least try it on!

Hi Laura, had the same collar problem with my cat. Ended up getting him 'chipped' instead. Works well with the cat flap... he's the only cat who can get in and out which is good as a lot of my neighbours have cats too. I used to get through a LOT of cat food! x

KITTY! **ahem**

Love the top, I love kitty clothing, but oddly it's giraffes that I can't leave behind. I love giraffes on clothing. In fact I love giraffes. They fascinate me with their necks...

Loving little Mae, she might be a diva, but she's a damn cute diva.

I saw that top and was so tempted I love it and I love your boots.

aww your cat is so cute we have the same problem with Tommy, he has gotten through 3 collars as he loses them because we put them on loose as we are worried about him getting caught on something! Problem is he is microchipped so we bought him another collar saying he has been chipped and our phone number but I am so worried about him wearing it as I know he will lose it!

Love the cute cat top, and definitely your style! I love Mae, she is adorable and keeping her collar on, not sure, my cats always used to lose theirs as well! Mischevious things that they are.

Such a lovely top! And seeing more of the adorableness of Mae! As for keeping the collar on, I think a lot of it is just having her get used to wearing it and having to keep putting it back on. That and finding one she likes! I know one of my cats refused to wear her collar till we got on that she preferred!

Aw Mae is beyond cute, and already quite the poser.. I'm afraid I have no tips- our cat wore a collar for about 2 days of his 18 years so far.. xx

What a cute top - I would love to see that outfit with a big retro waisted belt, tying it all together with a ladylike 1950's feel.
I think I might have the head to Asda after your little fab find :)

Mae really is adorable. Our kittys don't wear collars because of them always being indoors. But my old cat use to hate his collar and had a variety of ways to get them off once you had one on him. In the end we had to give up trying with one on him because of the fear of him get hurting himself trying to get it off.

Love the colour and the print! Neither of our cats took to wearing collars, but as they are both microchipped we figured they should be ok without them x

What a cuuuuute kitty!! I love that stage where there ears look too big for their heads! My little Axel looks exactly like that :-)

You could try spraying Feliway spray on her collar. Apparently it has hormones in it similar to the ones cats produce so the Feliway makes them feels calmer and more relaxed. x
