Classical

My shopping trip on Tuesday may not have been a success for new season pieces, but for bargain wardrobe basics it couldn't be beat...this "it'll never date" shift dress was reduced to £10 in the Dorothy Perkins sale, and being the savvy shoppers that we are, my Mum snapped up the black version so we can mix and match.

I'm kind of loving these mid-season sales actually, yesterday yielded 2 pastel tees in New Look for a mere £3 each and an orange floral dress for £9.

So much for trying to curb my spending; I've noticed a lot of bloggers going on a spending ban of late and dammit, I admire your discipline!

Snapped up any bargains lately?

This dress is lovely.
I've been on a ban, it's tricky but I find that just avoiding temptation was the trick. The best way was to unsubscribe from clothes shop emails, it stopped my lunchtime purchases immediately!

Excellent bargain on the dress, loving the idea of mix and match with the black. My best bargain of late- I bought a £7 pair of flats from ASDA yesterday... following your bread, milk, goodies theme I feel! Bought a dress in the ASOS 20% off dresses thing the other day, but only because I won an ASOS voucher. Otherwise, I can't really afford much shopping at the moment as I was on half pay from my job for a couple of months. SIGH

Love classic dresses, and how you can keep them simple or jazz them up with a leather jacket/statement necklace/patterned tights/pretty much anything. So many ways to style it xx

Oh my gosh I love that dress! It's so classic, the colour is gorge and it looks expensive. You look fab in it. Bargain!

I don't agree with spending bans. Why why why?! Anyway, you and I are helping the economy by boosting the public spending stats. We are selfless.

Happy Sunday xxx
