dress down

Next jeans, Matalan cardi, Peacocks tee and Betty London boots. Perfect attire for a Sunny Saturday lunch date and shopping spree with some of my favourite girls.

A chilled out weekend was the perfect remedy to a manic week. Another week at work and then I'm off for a week of Christmas preparations with my Mum...as nice as it'd be to jet off for some winter sun, a week at home getting festive, rounded off with a day trip to Birmingham is exactly what I am craving.

Speaking of Birmingham...must visit shops? Places to eat? General tips?

Happy Monday

Love love love that look. I've got to get dressed now and run out - and dressing down like that is just want's called for - and I have a very old pair of boots similar to those, I'm going to tuck some skinny jeans into those babies. I just wish I had a jacket like that - so Navajo - but I do have a wonderful old jumper from Denmark when I went there in college, and it's very similar apparently to something from the Killing -which I haven't yet seen!

Laura I would SO LOVE to meet you in person. Come to London! Or I'll meet you halfway. ; )

Have a lovely monday. Sun isn't out here, but it's funny how this blogging business can make one feel all sun-shiney. xox

Massive cardigan envy! The only place I've ever seen in Birmingham is the train station...and that is not a pretty sight!

I wish I had a Matalan nearby! You always find loads of goodies in there. Do you still have to have a membership card to shop there?! I never understood that...!

Love that cardigan, I have the multi-coloured version, also from Matalan. Think I might have to visit again to collect the black and white one!

Love the cardigan and the outfit in general :-)
I've only been to Birmingham once but I would recommend going to Forever 21 in the Bullring as it's the only branch in the UK and the prices there are great :-)

What a lovely slouchy cardie! I hope you have a lovely time in Birmingham! I don't know the centre but I went to a lovely HUGE Webbs garden centre that had lots of cool items when I was there including hilarious Mark Darcy from Bridget Jones style reindeer jumpers!

Your boots are ace!

Birmingham: German Market is a MUST VISIT. The donuts and hot chocolate and Baileys is YUM.

There's also a festive pop up shop someowhere which has just opened, when I remember where I'll tweet you!

Brindley Place is a lovely place to eat too and you can have a nice walk down the canal.
