Friday! It's taken it's sweet time getting here this week, I can tell you! I'm guessing there is something in the water as work has been utter madness, beyond what it usually is...wow. Good thing I love my job!
This is what I wore for Thursday; River Island skirt, Peacocks tee and Poetic License shoes. The morning was so stressful that I was forced to pop down to Boots on my lunch break and pick up the new 17 range BB cream and two of the metallic cream eyeshadows. Oh, cruel world.

My week was brightened by the lovely Ashley at Cutey.co.uk sending me this gorgeous charm bracelet for consideration on the blog. Previously un-aware of the website, it's now bookmarked in my favourites ready for a spot of Christmas shopping. The bracelet is lovely, my only complaint being the catch being really fiddly, and the prices are ACE at £12.99 for this style of bracelet (and a whole selection to choose from, to suit all tastes). What I really like is that they come in two sizes- 18cm and 20cm which eases the worry of it being too big, or too small for the person your buying for.

Well, given that it's just gone 6am and this girl needs breakfast before work, the only thing left to do is wish everyone a SUPER HAPPY FRIDAY. Have a good one! xxx

I love your skirt and hunted for it everywhere but sadly it never came to a River Island near me.
I’d like to know how you get on with the BB cream as I’ve heard loads about them.

Hey Laura,

I LOVE this look on you. You're looking great, and this is my favourite look, in fact I wore a short sleeved black jumper, too, yesterday - with jeans, but I love it with the leopard print skirt. The weird thing tho is, I just admired someone's shoes, and I can't tell until I look up Poetic License, but it looks like a very similar weave - and hers were Prada. Skinted/minted! ; )

Also, this is so weird: first, I've been thinking of you and meaning to come visit, when I saw your comment! And I was thinking of asking Lucie (Vagabond Van) if I can send you the jeans, as a kind of early Christmas present, but I think they're just a one-off and that size is probably too large... anyway, I"ll check, but meantime I came to say hi and of all things: they contacted me, too! (from Cutey). And while I never say yes, I did in this case - and I love the bracelets, too.

You've beat me to doing the post but that does it: I'm shooting mine now, and doing a post - and the funny thing is, the lovely Ashley asked me to be honest about any criticisms and my one criticism was the same - that the catch is fiddly. But it's funny: it's fiddly, yet strong. So I think it's just a case of getting the knack of it.

Okay - very feast or famine with me - I hardly comment on blogs these days because I don't shut up! But thinking of you and hope you're having a lovely, well deserved restful weekend: hope the sun's shining where you are, too.

big hug xox
