I know from Twitter that I wasn't the only one mourning the cold temperatures yesterday. This was the first of THREE outfits I had on trying to stay warm whilst not looking like I was dressed for Autumn. I was horribly over-ambitious with this one but it's still August, which means Summer...right? Clearly not. I am bitterly disappointed with the frankly shit weather we have had this year. Anyone want to emigrate with me?
(Matalan dress, Pretty Polly tights, Yull shoes).
Back at work today after an extra long weekend, a three day week almost makes up for everything else.
How are you dressing right now? Is it time to admit defeat with Summer clothes? I've not even had chance to wear some of my purchases!

I actually got my winter coat out yesterday. Tights are a good reason to be positive about the cooler weather. I could definitely emigrate with you though as I love the sunshine.

Come to Australia its been perfect here the last 2 days and we even had a afternoon storm yesterday cause it was so hot.

I love a nice floral dress with heels! Yeah the weather has been awful, I've given up trying to change it by dressing summery when the weather is clearly october-like. Time to wear our autumn purchases I guess! xxx

I've given up Summer as a bad job, spent yesterday wearing a big jumper over my dress and WOOLLY TIGHTS. So far today I'm wearing a hoodie over my PJs, and my duvet... I'm definitely up for emigration!

Yesterday was so cold I had to sit on my hands to stop me flicking the central heating on! Bloody rediculous weather. I think Ive given up on summer and my chunky boots and tights are creeping back in. Though I need to stock up on cardis...

I'm blinking freezing.
It's this inbetweeny state that I don't like, when it comes to full on autumn and winter and you can wear woolly hats and gorgeous coats and chunky cardigans - this is when I get excited!

Oh I've totally given up. Today I wore tights, a maxi skirt and a big woolly jumper. I'll blog it at some point - I was warm and it was lovely!
i went for jeans and a jumper, the jumper was only just warm enough though.

Such a shame you're not getting to wear new purchases - I have to, as soon as I walk in the door, they're out of the bag and on... for a while at least.
This week I've been really lucky! It was gorgeously warm in Hay on Wye (Wales, where we went on holiday)for 3 of the days so I've worn summer stuff. Sometimes, I have just grinned and borne it and worn summer stuff with tights and cardies.
We drove past Bristol on our way there and it made me think of you!
