Tux Up

A quick, and for me fairly wordless post today. I am STILL full of cold and if I didn't have an appointment this morning you bet I would still be in PJs and no makeup making woe is me noises and wishing I had a servant to bring me endless cups of tea (which is exactly how I spent yesterday).
I hate having a cold, and it turns me in to a drama queen...though it's not quite a full blown case of man-flu.

Both this (now ancient) Topshop bow tie vest and ASOS velvet shorts are perfect for when I want to to look smarter than I feel!

I'm hoping to get out and get some sunshine later today (I have penpal letters to post, exciting!) and be back at work tomorrow, so normal posting/posing will resume, just in case you were missing it too much!

How are you celebrating this gorgeous weather? Anyone had a picnic yet? What are your top picnic foods? For me it has to be bite size anything...quiche, sandwiches...anything in miniature!

I love those shorts more and more each time I see them! Like you I like miniatures in picnics, also lots and lots of crisps! Ahhh talking of picnics make me desperate to go on one! Might drag the boy to Hyde Park in a few weeks!

Does cider count as a picnic food? xxx

It's not a picnic without those ready salted chipstick/potato stick things (don't know the official name, different shops call them different things). Mmmm and lots of cherry tomatoes.

Feel better soon, I hate having colds too, they always hit my chest making me hack and wheeze!

Loving the bow tie and I tried to take my revision outsided today- epic fail as I couldn't sit comfortably due to my iffy hip and had to come in. Took my vanilla tea out though, and favourite picnic food- salad, cold sausages/chicken, any type of fruit although I could kill for raspberries, pineapple, apricots and or plums right now.

I subscribe to all those 'crisps are a must' comments above (Kettle chips, Walkers sensations, M&S ones especially). In addition- must be baguette, we had gravalax at several picnics last year which is yummy, pate, cherry tomatoes, nice goats cheese, olives, cold sausages. However, it's usually just a case of feed me with anything though and I'm happy!
We had several picnics on top of mountains in Greece recently involving olive bread, delicious goat cheese.
Cute top- very different from the norm!

such a cute look! And I like the extremely tiny scotch eggs that contain the scrabled mix. Buffet bars (awesome) AND jelly. Yum!
