contrast

Over the past few months I have become more accepting of casual wear. I used to feel like I had to dress up every day or something terrible would happen; but actually I quite enjoy the comfort of a pair of jeans and a simple sweater and have started to embrace it more.

Case in point, yesterday:

These jeans were an absolute bargain from a Next clearance store, I believe they were £5. The sweater is from New Look...I'm still devoted to that shop.

Today was back to dresses though, the dress I am wearing is my new favourite. A sales buy from Monsoon Fusion, the colour and print make me so happy.

You probably can't see it clearly but the print is little apples.

Well, back to fashion...I'm still terribly behind on both NY and London fashion week, its a bit beyond my comprehension to be thinking of Summer when I still haven't decided on my Winter wardrobe! Top of my wish list for this season is this cutwork leather skirt from Oasis

Photobucket

Well, that's me done. I'm off to find a bank to rob to pay for aforemention skirt.

P.S. thank you so much for the incredibly sweet comments

I was just thinking the other day that I've sort of fallen back into comfy casual wear too. Who says you can't look cute in jeans and sweater? ;) You look fab in both outfits! I can see why the colour and print of that dress makes you happy. It's so sweet.

I do think this is the first time I've seen you in jeans and a sweater, but it looks so so good on you!
Those are like the perfect jeans for you, I can't believe they were so cheap!

That leather skirt is awesome, I'm still looking for a black skirt(to go with all my different color panther leggings, I don't know how I ended up with a whole rainbow of them). This is way beyond my budget though, I'd have to rob a bank with you.

Casual wear is good. You need to wear a little of everything to keep the balance.

Ah...snap with the purple tights...I wore a slightly different shade today though...but purple nevertheless.

I think I'll have to disagree with the leather skirt...I have an aversion to all things made of leather/pvc fabric. :(

Take care. xx:)

Well hello again. Ok I love the Paris jumper, very cute and fun! Even though I am going off Highstreet stuff slowly. (think I am getting old! I want key pieces and all that!) The Monsoon dress is great, bright colours look great on you, you should wear them more. Your pale like me so pale colours and beiges will wash you out a little. And the green/teal colour really makes you radiant! Oh and the leather cutout skirt, beyond cute!!

I love leather and my problem with it is that normally it is difficult to wear without feeling like cat woman....this winter I saw a simmilar skirt to this one in Zara but it doesn´t have lower applications....this is innocent what is a contradiction and makes it amazing!!!!

thanks for showing us it!!!
