This isn't an outfit post, as such, as I'm not wearing this dress today and I didn't wear it yesterday, either. I just wanted to show it off basically because it is my new favourite maxi dress! Sent to me by the gorgeous Char as part of an epic Birthday parcel.
Stripes + the perfect amount of over-sized slouch...what isn't to love?! Of course it'll be better when I can fill it out properly, and when we have more maxi appropriate weather!
I also wanted to share a couple of treats I bought myself (I swear retail therapy should come on the NHS!)
Yet another floral dress, from New Look, £10 in the sale.
OPI Shrek Forever Nail Polish in Rumples Wiggin, I don't think this is available in the UK yet, I ordered mine from a USA ebay seller.

I still have several new pieces of clothing to share with you from Saturday's shopping trip but they will be shown when I actually wear them!
Well, I'm off to find something to do with my day. I'm a ball of nervous energy right now as I have a tour of the hospital unit I'll be admitted to when a bed comes up, tomorrow, and I am scared.

I love maxi dresses, but I really can't wear them as I'm only 5ft tall and would need to chop off about a ft off the bottom! Looks lovely.

Wow, love that dress! I'd like to have a maxi dress myself, but I'm too short for most. (1.65, which isn't that short, but those dresses are often sooo long)
That nail polish is very pretty. I just happened to come back with some new nail polish myself, my new favorite brand Herome WIC, and it was on sale!

Do not be scared! The hard bit is over - you're taking steps to get better! You are well on the road to recovery just by taking the first step of even going into a hospital unit. This all sounds rather cliche but hey what are cliches for!

Stripes are always a good choice...along with florals.
p.s. shoes on my blog were from some shop in London...website exists too so can purchase on line...so reasonably priced too.
I intend on buying more shoes from there too...but must curb my spending for now!
