Back to work and normal routine today, I'm kind of sad that the festive season is over. But very pleased to get life back on track! People say January is the most depressing month, but I'm inclined to disagree, I see it more of a clean slate, an adventure that can shape the 12 months ahead.
Here is what I wore yesterday for a very low key and lazy New Years Day
I found this dress lurking in my wardrobe still with tags from when I bought it in the Summer! Teamed with tights it made a fine outfit for Winter, though with this cold weather a cardigan was rapidly added!
I've still not hit the sales! Though I did buy a 10ml bottle of Harajuku Lovers "Baby" perfume for £6.25 in Boots, so perhaps, techincally I have sales shopped just not for clothes!

I didn't do anything for NYE either, I fell asleep at about 10pm, I was just shattered! Made up for it last night though!

I though I'd go sale shopping, but when I was in the city, I looked around, got annoyed by the crowd and clothes on the floor and everywhere, so I went home again :P

I totally agree with you...January is a fresh new start all over again...
I didnt do much either and went to bed by 9pm...which was so refreshing..
to me it is the day to day stuff that matters...and appreciating the little moments as well as the big ones.

I like that combination of the dress and tights and it reminds me to pull out a few of my summer dresses for layering.

Hi darling, love the tights! Usually , even in winter, I don't use them but this winter I love them a lot! I bought green tight, purple, grey, with embroidery or not, I just love them and I'm too old for not using anymore!
