grey days

Good morning and happy mid-week, half way to the weekend!
How's the weather where you are? (I'm such a true Brit!) we have rain, rain...and a bit more rain. I am most un-amused. It's okay when you can stay inside, but when you HAVE to go out...

Yesterday I wore my zipper pencil skirt. I love the skirt but after 5 minutes I realised why I never wear it...
stairs become impossible. Seriously. In the end I went sideways like a crab.

Today I went for more grey, with the addition of wet look leopard print detail tights.

Currently it's dry outside, and touch wood it'll stay that way until lunch-time as I have to go out.
This clever clogs knew she had baking to do (2 more lots of hobnobs as Mum's colleagues are demanding!) yet forgot to buy flour.

What are you up to?
Don't forget to check out my sale
And watch this space for the next installment of the gift guide coming up on Cant Help but Be later today.

You look lovely, the photos of you in the dress are fab ! Thats such a shame about the skirt, but walking like a crab is safer anway!

I love your outfits! Grey is one of my new favorite colours :) Too bad about the skirt, it's really pretty. Well, I guess that's how some really pretty things are: not practical.

It isn't too bad up here. Lots of rain yesterday, grey and dry today. Have a good day!

You look lovely in the grey dress! Hope the sun stays bright for you:)

that seconds dress is GORGEOUS and you look amazing in it.

pencil skirts will sadly do that, just another way (heels, clutch bags), designers attempt to restrict our mobility.

weather down here? hottest day since last year's summer - i think it reached about 35 degrees today, which isn't heaps, but when it has been like 22 for a long time, it feels like a heatwave!

I'm loving all that grey, darling! Though I must admit, it is difficult to navigate stairs when donning a skirt; your solution is hilarious however - crab-style! :)

Love them both, but the dress is my favourite. I'm obsessed with 50s shapes, I think they're so flattering for all body types. Love how you made it modern with those leggings!

You have great eyebrows too! :)

That dress is lovely! Yes the weather was disastrous yesterday, wasn't it? But I secretly love the opportunity to get all my rainy day attire on... wellies, rain mac, umbrella.. Like a little waterproof coccoon! x

i have a skirt like that where i have to jump up the stairs because it's so tight i can't move my legs properly ahah. all the leaves are starting to fall off the trees here cos of the rain and wind :( i don't like that because it means autumn's over and winter is nearly here
