Wednesday

Halfway through another week already? Where does time go? Oh I make myself sound so old...22 going on 82.

No shopping for me this week, which is probably a good thing given my lack of funds after last week.

Monday I had a slouching round the house day outfit wise, featuring my AA t-shirt dress and my new boyfriend cardigan from Primark. Is it wrong I'm considering buying another of these? It's just so comfortable!

I'm not toooo sure whats going on with the lighting in the pictures, haha, my camera does tend to hate me at times.

I also wanted to share my new boots, I ordered them at the start of last week but they only arrived yesterday

From La Redoute. They actually look nicer in person (which I was glad to see) and are replacing my old (well, last years) black boots that have literally been worn to death.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic week,
please tell me I'm not the only one who is so far underwhelmed with the S/S 10 collections?!

That cardigan sure looks nice and cozy! Plus, I have a thing for cardigans that look like they were hand me downs. It adds to the "cozy factor"..

Im obsessed with boots. I think Ive heard of La Redoute before.. but anyway, those black boots look real nice. Simple and tough looking.

Lovely boots. I'm all over bootstraps right now, picked myself up pair in River Island (which has gotten dare I say... kinda good).

Not feeling a lot of S/S 10 either. Except Rodarte. My heart forever belongs to those two.

Your cardi looks so like the one I bought at xmas from gap (it's my favourite for slouching round the house in)... might be tempted to take a trip to primark now to see if I can acquire another... because you can't have too many cardis!

I'll be posting about the S/S shows soon, but overall I think they're much worse than last year, although there has been a few that stood out for me!

Ohh i love that cardi. I made the mistake of not taking a cardigan to work today and was freezing all day. I hope you got a discount on the boots? I work for La Redoute! x

I haven't seen too much of the collection to be honest....kinda focused on fall right now! I have been scoping the street scene outside the shows and I find that to be far more relevant and exciting!

Love the cardigan! It looks almost wintery cosy! But I'm most in love with those boots! I've been looking for a pair like that! Must check out La Redoute...

I agree with you about the SS10 collections by the way. I'm not sure if I"m jaded or if it really is as uninspiring as I think it is. I do understand the hype around Rodarte's show, but for the most part, nothing's made me go 'wow' yet. Hopefully the London and Paris shows will, considering most of my favorite designers show there.

You are gorgeous! I love that outfit :)

Anika said...

Yep. Have to agree, whilst there was alot that I liked in the SS 10 collections, there was nothing gasp-worthy. I do however ADORE your boots!!! Are they leather and how much did they cost? *seriously drooling here*

Also adore the boyfriend cardigan, nothing as comfy and stylish (I think) as an oversize cardi. Nice.

Hope you have a great weekend
